The College affiliated Research Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences was founded in 1985, with the aim of helping graduate students and faculty conduct quality research and to train pharmaceutical research scientists. The main emphasis is placed on basic pharmaceutical research with funding obtained from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Food and Drug Administration, National Institute of Toxicology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Korea Science and Engineering Foundation, Ministry of Trade and Foreign Affairs, and other government and private agencies.
